We’ve had several days of April showers which have kept our Texas spring temperatures on the cool side. With this wet, cool weather, I start craving Tex Mex food, but definitely don’t want to go out!

I enjoy experimenting with making different versions of an old fashioned pound cake, especially since I have fresh eggs everyday from my chickens.
