This spaghetti sauce is the easiest recipe ever, I promise! It’s packed with flavor and hidden nutrition as well. You will need a crockpot and food processor to fast track the process. I’m all about ease and efficiency!

1. Line your crockpot with a specially designed liner. You can find these in the grocery aisle with the aluminum and plastic wraps.

2. Place in the crock pot one pound of lean, raw ground beef or turkey (can be still frozen).

3. In a food processor, using the sharp blade, grind together till a soft paste forms: one small package fresh mushrooms, one peeled and halved onion, 6-10 cloves of fresh garlic, one quartered bell pepper, one zuchinni, 2-3 carrots or half a bag of mini carrots, a fistfull each of fresh parsley (include stems), basil, and oregano.

4. Cover the meat in your crockpot with your fresh herb and vegetable mixture. Smother it all with two cans of spaghetti sauce.

5. Set the temperature on low. Cover and cook. Go to work and forget about dinner; it’ll be waiting for you when you get home. You can do all the prep work the night before and turn it on low in the morning.

6. After 8-10 hours, stir the sauce to break up the meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Tada! The spaghetti sauce is ready to serve over your choice of noodles.

What are you waiting for!?!

I sink my fork into a heaping bowl

twist and turn to form a roll

swirl around, I salivate

no longer can I wait

I indulge and it feels so good

tastes so delicious just like it should.
