The whole undertaking of visiting my chickens every morning reminds me to grab the preciousness of each moment, to live in the present, and to pay attention. I’m reminded to not rush through a task, negatively dressing it as a chore to be checked off. Am I guilty of thinking, “what do I have to do next?”
