I’m sure you’ve noticed that grocery store shelves are running low on inventory. As a baker, my favorite shortcut recipes are lacking in ingredients, especially if they call for specific baking mixes. And if you do find what you need, chances are, the prices are exorbitant!
I made up another recipe this last weekend, because I was in the mood for baking and not in the mood to go to the store!
I partially made up a cake recipe (I made cupcakes) to celebrate the end of summer and served them for a special small gathering. Lemon brightens up any occasion. And if you include a touch of exotic saffron, the floral notes will tickle the back of your tongue for sure!
School is in full swing and I’m all about sharing quick and easy recipes, so break out the crockpot and let’s cook low, slow, forget-about-it, flavorful family dinners. One of my nieces shared this recipe with me.
