Gardening Tips
My hope is for all to receive sanctuary and encouragement, including hospitality venues and ideas, conversational meditations, and organic gardening tips. Topics will range from the deeply personal to the light and entertaining, but all with the purpose of uplifting you while encouraging you to think deeply.
Dividing Irises
I’m dividing and conquering iris bulbs today. Many gardeners don’t care for irises because they only bloom for a couple of months off and on. However, what a show they put on in the early spring when summer warmth is barely kissing the winter cold.
The Weight of a Mother’s Love
It’s been a few weeks since my sister’s passing. I receive phone calls daily from those loved ones who want to be reassured that I’m OK. Somedays I pour out my angst, rage, sadness, and tears. Other condolence sessions are not as verbose.
Chess Pie
Is your sweet-tooth craving demanding satisfaction but under these COVID-19 restrictions, you can’t run out to buy a treat and you don’t think you have the ingredients on hand to bake?
